I thought I would do a review of a great eyeshadow palette by Sleek Make-Up that I have been using for a while, its actually one of my favourites. I have mentioned before about my love for Sleek, they are such a great high street brand producing great quality make-up, I cant get enough of their eyeshadow palette’s and at £7.99 they are incredibly affordable and amazing value for money, so you can’t blame me for ending up with way more than I could ever need. I also have their cream blush, contour, brow and highlighting palettes, I am obsessed!!
If I had to choose a favourite, it would be the Oh So Special Eyeshadow Palette, it has a great mix of colours perfect for a daytime or evening look!!
I am pregnant with my first baby at the moment and for me, aswel as the changes happening to my body, it has also played havoc with my skin. I thought it might be useful to do a blog on some of the beauty products that have helped me along the way.
I have to admit in the beginning and for what seemed like forever I actually started to think the whole ‘pregnancy glow’ was an urban myth!! My skin has changed throughout every trimester but there are a few great products that ive used along the way – my own personal skin saviours!
The most common skin complaints that I have experienced in my pregnancy are – dry/itchy patches, acne and greasy/oily skin towards the end of the 2nd trimester. Here are a few of the products which really helped me with these problems:
With her flawless skin, large doe eyes and huge pout, Kylie Jenner’s beauty look has become hugely sought-after and inspired hundreds of thousands of Youtube make-up tutorials and Instagram selfies.
How does she do it, I hear you ask……….. Kylie’s personal make-up artist Hrush Achemyan spilled the beans on how she achieves this super polished look and now we can all have a go!!
Before i started my course at The Academy of Make-up I didn’t have a clue what the difference was between pressed and pure pigment eye shadows, so here’s a quick definition:
Highly concentrated loose coloured powder that ranges from subtle to ultra-intense effects depending on application. Mix with eye shadow or use it on its own to intense effect.
I am a huge fan of Zoeva brushes but prior to this purchase i had never actually used any make-up products. As you can see from the colour swatch on my skin below, this colour is very intense but quite subtle – It adds a hint of glamour to any basic eye shadow or smoky eye look.
