My Top Christmas Beauty Buys

The festive season is well and truly upon us and I couldn’t be more excited, Christmas is my favourite time of year.  What’s not to love??  Fairy lights, food, presents, party nights, bubbly, cosy nights in watching Christmas films – the list goes on and I love everything about it!  This year I have been super organised and managed to buy the bulk of my gifts in October – this never happens, I’m normally scraping buy with one wage to spare!! With that in mind I thought I would offer some suggestions on my favourite beauty buys this festive season.

IMG_2935[1]If you don’t want to splash out on the Clarisonic Mia look no further – I give you the Olay Regenerist 3 Point Super Cleansing System, a great alternative at a fraction of the cost.  I actually have this myself and its a great little addition to my skincare routine.  This system comes with exfoliator included and the brush is shaped to suit the contours of your face for better removal of dirt and make up even in the T-zone and chin.  Boots are offering this for £26.66 at the moment, its out of stock online but if your lucky you might be able to grab one in store.

IMG_2967[1]I cannot resist a Naked palette and I love the drama of a gorgeous smoky eye, its perfect for the Christmas party season.  The Urban Decay Naked Smoky Eyeshadow Palette contains twelve eyeshadows just like the other Naked Palettes with tones ranging from sparkly gold, silver and black – everything you could possibly need to perfect your own smoky eye look.  This palette is normally priced £38, but you can snap it up for £34.20 at House of Fraser at the moment – if you are looking to splurge, you cant argue with the quality of Urban Decay products – go on treat yourself!!


Maybelline Palette The Nudes – £9.99 @ Boots



A real bargain at £9.99, Maybelline’s The Nudes Palette offers 12 shades for a day or night look including sparkle and matte textures – this is a great alternative to the Naked Smoky Palette.



Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit – £65 @ Space NK


Isn’t this just dreamy??!!  Designed to give you everything you need to finish, brighten, contour and highlight your skin in a single compact, this palette also includes a limited edition Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder in Iridescent Strobe Light.  Just stunning!


Make-Up Revolution Ultra Blush and Contour Palette in Golden Sugar – £6 @ Superdrug
