Best Budget Buy in 2015: Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Fatigue Blur in ‘Warm Apricot’

Hello Bunnies,

How are we all?? As the year is soon coming to a close, I thought I would do a review on a great little bargain primer that I have been using.  I have to admit, I picked this up in Boots as a bit of a ‘spur of the moment’ buy, mainly drawn by the cute packaging and not thinking very much about the quality of product.

Say hello to Maybelline Baby Skin, a range of primers including Instant Pore Eraser and Anti Fatigue Blur Options.

I went for the instant fatigue blur primer which is water based, giving it a smooth lotion like consistency without being too runny – It feels very lightweight, hydrating & leaves a subtle cooling sensation on the skin.  The primer comes in two shades – Cool Rose and Warm Apricot.  The shade I have is warm apricot, this one is more suited to people with dark circles, blueish veins etc and it matches my medium skin tone perfectly. After applying my skin looks more awake, brighter & my dark circles look a little less dark, my skin feels like velvet.  When it comes to how my make-up applies/lasts throughout the day – it’s just fantastic – the super smooth velvet base ensures my make-up looks flawless & lasts for a good 8 hours before needing any touch ups.

All in all, I just love this primer, it is a great little bargain find!! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great quality product at an affordable price.  You can find the Baby Skin range in Boots, retailing at £7.99.

Are you a fan of Maybelline? What are your thoughts on the baby skin primers?

Until next time,
